It can be concluded that he was accompanied during his journey.

The deer is a figure related to the polytheistic beliefs and Sufism in Central Asia and is considered a sacred animal due to its guiding feature. In the Central Asian Shaman culture, deer are considered protective. It can be an element of protection from evil and evil eye.
