Dendanlı Rumi, Sliced ​​Rumi, Embroidered Rumi, Plain Rumi and Winged Rumi used with ducks express abundance and fertility. The meaning of Rumi motif means “belongs to Anatolia”. The motif was named after the Anatolian Peninsula, which was once ruled by the Roman Empire and extending to the Iranian highlands, was called the Land of Rum.

In Seljuk art, the rumi motif was frequently used in mosques, madrasas, caravanserais and mosques.
