The duck, which is the ornament and symbol of the lakes in the Dede Korkut epics, is also a hunting animal. Hunting, which has functioned as a sport and a show of power throughout history, has been one of the most important depiction subjects in the Seljuks. As a result of the hunting curiosity of the Seljuk sultans, it is possible to see the depictions of game animals such as ducks on tiles and ceramics in palaces and mansions.

• The image is transferred from the back of the paper to the inked printing block with a wooden spoon.
• Printed in the artist’s home studio.

• Made from linseed oil and lightfast pigments.
